Basics: (Alto, Tenor and Soprano Sax) Embouchure, Breath Support, Reading, Scales and Chords, Improvisation, Altissimo, Jazz, Classical, Rock, Duets. Advanced Literature: Jazz Standards, Smooth Jazz, Gershwin, J.S. Bach, Kenny G, Dave Koz, David Sanborn. Alto Saxophone students have embouchure (mouth muscles) issues which require physical development not usually possible before 6th grade (around 11 years old).
