Basics: Perfect Embouchure, Breath Support, Use of the Tongue to play high notes and play in tune, Reading, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Improvisation, Duets. Advanced Literature: Jazz Standards, Gershwin, J.S. Bach, Rimsky Korsakov, Mozart. Trumpet students have embouchure (mouth muscles) issues which require physical development not usually possible before 6th grade (around 11 years old).
